Let God in. We’re cyclic beings, and Mother Earth teaches us how to be human every day with the coming and going of the tides and the seasons. If you’re clinging to anything, you’re resisting the natural flow of who you are. The things we cling to are those we most need to let go of: the food, the substances, the relationship, the job, the people-pleasing…
 
The things we cling to often cover up our most vulnerable space – the part we’re most afraid to leave empty; the part we guard and don’t let God into. But by keeping that space covered with something that doesn’t serve us, or clinging to it for fear of it not staying of its own accord, we prevent ourselves from receiving the things that will. A Course in Miracles tells us: ‘Whatever we leave empty, grace will fill.’ And the Buddha said: ‘You can only lose what you cling to.’ Indeed, both are true.
 
If this card appears, you’re being called to find the courage to loosen your grip and give up control. To release your coping mechanisms and leave space for grace and God to enter. To surrender all that feels dense to the divine.
 
Loosening your grip doesn’t mean that what you’re clinging to will go away. It may. Or it might stay. But you can be sure that what is for you, will find you. And you’ll breathe easier knowing that you’ve shifted from relying on your own strength to surrendering to the grace of life.

신을 받아들이세요. 우리는 순환하는 존재이며, 어머니인 지구는 밀물과 썰물, 계절의 변화를 통해 매일 우리에게 인간이 되는 법을 가르쳐줍니다. 당신이 무언가에 집착한다면, 당신은 자연스러운 흐름에 저항하는 것입니다. 우리가 집착하는 것들은 가장 놓아야 할 것들입니다: 음식, 물질, 관계, 직업, 사람을 기쁘게 하려는 것들…

우리가 집착하는 것들은 종종 우리의 가장 취약한 공간을 가립니다. 

우리가 비워두는 것을 가장 두려워하는 부분, 우리가 지키고 서서 신이 들어오지 못하게 합니다.

하지만 그 공간을 우리에게 도움이 되지 않는 것들로 덮어두거나, 그것이 스스로 머물지 않을까를 두려워하며 집착함으로써, 우리는 우리에게 필요한 것들을 받아들이지 못하게 됩니다.

기적수업(A Course in Miracles)에서는 '우리가 비워둔 것은 은혜가 채울 것이다'라고 말합니다.

그리고 부처는 '집착하는 것만을 잃을 수 있다'라고 했습니다. 실제로 두 가지 모두 사실입니다.

이 카드가 나타나면, 당신은 용기를 내어 놓아주고 통제력을 포기하라는 부름을 받고 있는 것입니다. 대처 메커니즘을 내려놓고 은혜와 신이 들어올 수 있도록 공간을 남겨두라는 부름을 받고 있습니다. 모든 것을 신성함에 맡기라는 부름을 받고 있습니다. 

손을 놓는다고 해서 당신이 집착하던 것이 사라지는 것은 아닙니다. 

사라질 수도 있고, 머물 수도 있습니다. 하지만 당신을 위한 것이 반드시 당신을 찾을 것이라는 것은 확신할 수 있습니다. 그리고 당신은 자신의 힘에 의존하는 것에서 벗어나 삶의 은혜에 내맡기는 것으로 바뀌었다는 것을 알게 되면 더 편안하게 숨 쉴 수 있을 것입니다.

아무것도 그 자리를 대신하지 않을까 두려워 집착하고 있는 것은 무엇인가요?
